The trousers are part of the LAUHA set, which works as a perfect outfit for cooler days, regardless of place or time. The trousers are a meticulously refined, newer version of the trousers completed in early 2025, which have been in heavy use throughout the year. Thus, the LAUHA trousers could even be called perfect trousers, especially as their length can be easily adjusted to your own measurements. 

The trousers are knitted top-down, mostly in stockinette stitch in the round, and purl stitches are mainly knitted only at the beginning of the work. The style is relaxed and straight-legged. The waist is mid-rise and very flexible thanks to the elastic band.

The LAUHA set is knitted with a blend of merino wool, alpaca, and viscose, together with silk-mohair. Merino wool is soft and breathable, but alone a bit too stretchy. Alpaca adds just the right amount of structure and warmth, while viscose increases durability. The fluffiness of silk-mohair gives the knit a luxurious look and also somewhat forgiving of uneven tension. The combination is wonderfully soft and stays neat-looking longer. The yarn in the pattern can be replaced with a similar worsted-aran yarn of 165–200 m / 100 g thickness, keeping in mind that merino is a maximum of 50% and the yarn is not too oily (lanolin-rich).

Additionally: 20 mm elastic band: amount depends on its stretch and waist measurement, e.g., 58 (64) 70 (76) 82 (88) cm, and a needle for sewing it
