PATTERN DESCRIPTION
Hossa Fleece is a top-down, fleece-inspired knit that can be made either as a vest or as a long-sleeved version. The pattern also includes options for pockets and bust darts with three different extra-length options. This is a unisex pattern designed to be worn regardless of gender, and it can easily be adjusted to suit different body types.
The body is worked flat in Stockinette Stitch using a soft and fluffy bouclé yarn, with the purl stitches facing the outside of the garment. This emphasizes the fluffy texture of the yarn.
The pattern includes illustrated instructions for a few less common techniques. Video tutorials are also available to support the knitting process and are listed below.

CONSTRUCTION ORDER
Knitting begins at the back neck. The Back is worked first to the lower edge of the armholes. The Front sections are then worked separately by picking up their stitches from the I-cord edges along the shoulders.
The length of the Front sections can be adjusted to suit the body. If needed, extra length can be added to the front using bust darts worked with German Short Rows.
The Front sections and Back are joined, and the body is then worked flat in one piece. Pockets can be added if desired.
The collar is worked after the body. For the long-sleeved version, the sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes. The sleeve caps are shaped using German Short Rows, after which the sleeves are worked top down in the round.
Finally, the I-cord edgings are worked and the zipper is sewn in place.
