Rumat Studio's online store opened in October 2025, with a few patterns initially for sale. Now, for the first time, a small batch of physical products is available for purchase. The products are handmade in Suomussalmi using recycled materials.
Suppa is a sturdy and plump scrunchie made from leftover yarns. Soft Suppa scrunchies are a gentler alternative to traditional hair ties.
The word "Suppa" refers to a round or funnel-shaped depression in the ground formed during the Ice Age, which corresponds to the shape of a Suppa scrunchie.
Larger knitting projects usually always leave some leftover yarn, and by making new products from them, these high-quality materials are not wasted. Each Suppa scrunchie is unique and reduces the amount of leftover yarn from different projects. Only one piece of each Suppa scrunchie is available.
Diameter approximately 16 cm.
The knit material is 75% wool and 25% polyamide.
Delivery is free, and the product will be shipped soon after purchase via Posti to the nearest pickup point or mailbox. It may be possible to change the delivery location in the Posti application before the shipment moves to transit. Delivery is currently only available to mainland Finland.
The purchase is subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection law. More information on returns and exercising the right of withdrawal can be found in our return policy.
