Rumat Studio's online store opened in October 2025, offering a few patterns for sale. Now, for the first time, a small batch of physical products is available. The products are handmade in Suomussalmi using recycled materials.
Suppa is a sturdy and voluminous scrunchie made from leftover yarns. Soft Suppa scrunchies are a gentler alternative to more traditional hair ties.
The word "Suppa" refers to a round or funnel-shaped depression in the ground formed during the Ice Age, which resembles the shape of Suppa scrunchies.
Larger knitting projects usually always leave some yarn leftover, and by making new products from them, these high-quality materials are not wasted. Each Suppa scrunchie is unique and reduces the amount of leftover yarn from different projects. Only one piece of each Suppa scrunchie is available.
Diameter approximately 16 cm.
Knitted material: 75% wool and 25% polyester.
